Remix will be hosting a Hip Hop workshop with one of Ottawa's best dance choreographers, Leah Totten. Leah is now the biggest Hip Hop influence in the Ottawa-Hull-Aylmer regions in Quebec and Ontario. As a teacher with artistic directorship and choreography experience in over twenty studios, schools and dance institutions, she continues to thrive for excellence in dancers to develop true Hip Hop education.
Leah has not only travelled all over to participate in world-class workshops and events (Boogiezone University, The Pulse, Coastal Dance Rage, Monsters of Hip Hop, Raise the Bar, and CanDance, to name a few), but has also taught many workshops and masterclasses across the country including places such as Clinton, Sudbury, Kingston, Aylmer, Toronto, Vancouver, Gatineau and Ottawa.
Throughout her years of training, Leah has won scholarships at various world-renowned conventions and been awarded Female Dancer of the Year, Performer of the Year and was recognized by Culture Shock Canada for being an inspiration and positive role model to her peers.

The workshop will be held on Sunday May 30th, 2010 from 11h00am to 12h30pm in the dance room at the YMCA in Rockland. Whether you’re an intermediate or advanced dancer, this is a terrific opportunity for you to sharpen your performance skills, to challenge yourselves and to grow as dancers.
